Love Others

July 15, 2018 - Bible Text:

Description

Jesus redirects our definition of love back to its origins, as love others as I have loved you. What does that mean? This week we will look at loving those we should love like our spouse, family, and people closest to us. The definition of love requires two certainties. First, free choice. Love is a choice. It needs to be a choice. Second, it seeks nothing but the other person's benevolence. These are difficult to do consistently because often we are faced with situations that only come once and we don't have the advantage of hindsight.
